Heather from The Glambulance kindly awarded me the Liebster Blog Award! Yay! I feel very happy to have been one of the blogs that she chose and despite already receiving this award once before it still feels great! Thank-you Heather!

I hope Heather will forgive me if I don't nominate 11 people as I've already passed this on a few times, but I will award this to Morgue in Black because I think she'd enjoy it, and I'll also tag Gemx so that I can poke her until she posts again =D

*I gave up alcohol for over a year when I developed stomach problems and now only drink very occasionally and not much at all

01. How did you choose the name for your blog?

I was rushing if I'm honest, I just wanted to get typing and the blog name was in the way.. I asked my brother what he thought of a few and we picked Cutie-cle because we liked the pun!

02. Why did you begin blogging?

I love writing; I always have! So when I saw how many blogs there were, specifically nail blogs, it gave me the confidence to show off my designs!

03. What is your guilty pleasure?

I don't really have any, I suppose it might be Disney films lol I watched Mulan the other day whilst I did my nails and was grinning the whole way through!

04. What is your holy grail beauty product?

I'm not sure I have one really, there are several that I like but none that I go around telling everyone to get! Maybe I'm yet to find that dream product?

05. Do you tweet? What's your username?

I have a twitter account but I hardly use it because tbh I don't understand the damned thing! @leishasaurus

06. What's your favourite fruit?

Pineapple! Yummmmmm

07. White or brown bread?

I like both, but I prefer white unless it's rolls with soup.. then I prefer brown!

08. What is your 'party trick'?

I don't really have one.. I'm kind of dull.. I can play ukelele?

09: What is your favourite thing to spend money on?

Nail varnish and tea cups!

10. Indoors are you socks, slippers or bare feet?

We have two cats and a dog so if you want to avoid stepping in things, fur, spilt water, bits of twigs, it's best to wear slippers lol mine are in the shape of bunnies =)

11. What is the last thing that really made you laugh?

Playing Super Mario Land Wii with my brother and we kept knocking each other off the edge of platforms and generally dying so much that we couldn't progress! We laughed a lot though!

I'm going to be really rubbish and lazy and give Morgan and Gemx the same questions lol because they're good questions and because I'm tired.. Sorry!

Blog Design Change

Hi everyone!


Just a quite note to say that I'm in the middle of revamping my blog.. Hence the new layout! Not sure how long it'll stay like this, I want to design my own background and banner but I have hardly any time at the moment.. I just wanted a change so I used the template designer on google to refresh it a bit! Let me know what you think, if you like it, if it's hard to read etc..
I've been thinking of changing my blog name as well, it looks good written down and I like the pun, but if someone asks me verbally what my blog name is it's a bit awkward to say and then describe, spell, explain what a hyphen is.. Yes, really, I had to do that yesterday. So I'm drawing spider diagrams at the moment! Any name suggestions are welcome!

Jubilee Nail Art

Heey everybody!

"Heey Dr Nick!"

Today I have for you my attempt at a Jubilee manicure! I'm not overly patriotic, but I do love England for its history and scenery =) so I thought I'd get into the spirit of things the only way I know how!

This manicure took just over half an hour, which was lucky as I was going to a BBQ (in the rain) shortly after. The bf played D3 whilst I painted =)

I made a few errors with this, firstly I did the flag from memory and didn't leave gaps between the red + and the red x, which was a bit of a rookie error tbh.. Also I meant to do both of the flags on my ring fingers but I did the sponging first and managed to sponge the ring finger on my left hand without thinking lol 

I'm still pretty pleased with this! I love the way the gradient looks against the white and I like the flags despite the error! (oops)

I also attempted to do Jubilee eye shadow but I don't really like it haha, still here it is!

I'm much more comfortable with nail art >.<
